Chamber Chew: Becoming a Talent Magnet
Join us in for the final 2018 Chamber Chew and learn how to:
Become a talent magnet!
Attract, retain, engage the right talent for your organization.
- Are you asking the right questions?
- Are you marketing to the right talent in a way they communicate?
- Are you onboarding correctly?
Getting to know your company’s vision, goals and challenges and provide talent solutions and strategies is what excites Becky Scheeler, VP of Client Engagement at Centennial. Becky works diligently to assess opportunities, challenges, and key elements of strategy at privately held, publicly traded, international, and family businesses. Using Centennial’s 4C Recruiting Process and over 30 years in Business and Human Resources, Becky partners with growth minded organizations and helps leaders be better leaders and grow healthier organizations.
Presidents and CEOs partner with Centennial and Becky to develop a talent attraction and retention strategy across multiple leadership roles in all industries. Aligning the right candidates with their clients’ Culture, Character, Chemistry and Competencies to achieve the goal of the role is what Scheeler loves to do. It’s a lot of up-front communication, dialogue and digging deep to know who is going to be the “right” next leader. Sometimes the conversations are tough, but the trust that is built and the resulting client satisfaction and long-term retention is what makes it very rewarding.
