About the Speakers:
Jim Collins, has nearly thirty years of experience in the area of consulting and advisory services to middle market, principally privately-owned companies. Most recently, Jim has focused his attention on employee benefits; principally through group health insurance, life and voluntary benefits through Insurance Benefits of Ohio and through JMC Consulting, LLC where he serves as managing member. Additionally, Jim has worked in public accounting and held various accounting and finance roles within privately-owned companies.
Jim’s work has supported companies and their employees in planning, structuring and implementing effective benefit plans to provide coverage and protection both financially and emotionally.
Michael Funcheon is the VP of Field Development at Horter Investment Management. As VP of Financial Education at Fidelity Investments, he was a key presenter for "Getting to Retire" Seminars, where he presented hundreds of workshops, catering to execs and High Net Worth individuals. He has also presented alongside Suze Ormon to Fidelity's most affluent clients. Over the course of his career he has counseled many people in the process of retirement, Social Security, Medicare, investment managemtn, insurance and estate planning.
Kate Vriner is a certified business broker with Sunbelt Business Advisors of Southwest Ohio, a business brokerage and mergers and acquisitions firm serving the Greater Dayton, Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Over the past 11 years, the team at Sunbelt has assisted business owners in selling over 200 businesses valued at 100’s of millions of dollars. Kate is a graduate of Wright State University. Prior to working at Sunbelt, Kate worked as a pricing analyst with Dayton Freight Lines negotiating pricing terms with their clients. She was also an account manager with CH Robinson where she assisted her clients in optimizing their supply chain through transportation.
