SUMMARY:2020 Annual Awards Virtual Event
DESCRIPTION:Please join us as we honor those who have made significant contributions to enhance our quality of life and make our community a better place to live. The Annual Awards Dinner is an evening for all area businesses to come together and celebrate their successes and community contributions.\n\n \nUPDATE FRIDAY\, NOVEMBER 13: The Little Miami River Chamber Alliance called a special meeting of the Board of Directors this AM to discuss the 2020 Annual Awards Dinner. Like many of you\, we continue to monitor Covid 19 and the effects it continues to have on human lives. \n\n \n\nWe deeply care about all of the businesses we serve\, their employees\, and their families. After in depth discussion\, the decision was made to move the Annual Awards Dinner to December 3\, 2020\, and to hold the event virtually. We thoughtfully discussed the many options and variations for this annual event and understand the importance of Annual Awards to the businesses and the community. We simply feel waiting until Covid #'s decrease to do an in-person event would not be fair to the nominees or the winners of each category. The businesses have worked hard and deserve to be awarded! Moving the event will allow more time for a fun\, quality\, and safe event.\n\n \n\nThis year's Annual Awards Dinner will have many of the same features you've known to come and love! Feel free to don your formal TOP\, and pajama bottoms and join us for a one-of-a-kind FUN virtual event. Because we know you will be missing the Chamber Chicken Dinner food\, we will be partnering with area restaurants to allow you to "choose your meal\," using the Annual Awards discount code at many area restaurants! The silent auction (that benefits Tried & True Parenting and the Chamber scholarship fund)\, will continue with some of the most interesting baskets ever! We will be broadcasting live with Chairman of the Board\, Doug Portmann and President\, CeeCee Collins congratulating the winners. \n\n \n\nAlong with the event\, each guest will receive a swag bag of items that can be picked up via drive-thru on December 3 from Oasis Conference Center. Because the majority of you have registered for the in-person event\, we respectfully ask you to consider donating the difference in the ticket price ($30) to the chamber. They have been ineligible for PPP funds and your donation would be very helpful at this time. If you prefer a reimbursement\, please contact Meredith@lmrchamberalliance.org or at 513-683-1544.\n\n \n\nAlthough this is not ideal\, the chamber feels it is important to keep the community involved and hope that you understand their position. We plan to have fun and look forward to recognizing and honoring the businesses for the hard work they have put in throughout the year. \n\n \n\nAdditional details will be shared over the next few weeks as the chamber continues to add exciting elements to the evening. \n\n \n\nAgain\, congratulations to the 2020 nominees and thank you for your understanding during this difficult time!\n\n \n \n\nAward Categories:\n\nBusiness of the Year\n\nBond Furniture and Design\, LaRosa's\, Lemons & Limes Boutique\, Magnolia Springs\, Mile 42 Coffee\, Move2Loveland\, Ohio Eagle Distributing\, Paxton's Grill\, The Works\n\n \n\nEmerging Business of the Year\n\nAbode Advantage\, Bergtech Solutions\, Fibrenew\, Loveland Pediatric Dentistry\, Mile42 Coffee\, Quanta HCM\, Redline Athletics\, Ricochet Digital Marketing\n\n \n\nNon-Profit of the Year\n\nChild Focus\, LIFE Food Pantry\, NEST Community Learning Center\, Ohio Valley Voices\, Pink Ribbon Girls\, Tigers\, Inc.\, Tried and True Parenting\n\n \n\nBeautification Award\n\nMile42 Coffee\, Oasis Turf & Tree\, The Landing Event Center\, City of Loveland Beautification Committee\, Brittney Frietch Real Estate\, Branch Hill Estate\n\n \n\nCommunity Involvement Award\n\nAmy VanStrien\, April Braddock\, Cassie Mattia\, Chad Powers\, Chris Owens\, Donna Barnes\, Becky Giver\, Doug Hyrne\, Doug Portmann\, Evangeline DeVol\, Katie Butler\, Nick Winnenberg\, Otto Huber\, Steve Max\, Sue Burnett\, Wendy Knight\, Donald "Woody" Woodruff\n\n \n\nBusiness Community Advocate Award\n\n365 Wealth Management\, Blooms & Berries\, Bush Re Shea\, EXP. We seek to provide a way forward where there is often not a road map. While we will come alongside any family\, we've seen God narrow our focus to serve single parents\, under-resourced families\, parents overcoming life addicting behaviors in addition to those welcoming foster children or adoptive kids into their forever families. We also com alongside those expecting their very first babe\, parents who have kids stuck in routine problem behaviors\, supporting all of them as they parent across the age span. T&T exists to be a conduit of family change providing evidence & research based tools to equip parents\, change the climate of the home\, encourage connection and preserve the family unit.
