The Business Emergency Planning Association (BEPA) is holding an event with help from Kay W. Wilkins and other contingency specialists to give businesses the resources they need to prepare for disaster.The Cincinnati Area Chapter of the American Red Cross would like to invite you and your business to the 5th Annual Business Emergency Planning Association Conference. The conference will take place on November 7 at the Manor House Banquet Center in Mason\, Ohio. Registration for the event is $150 for BEPA members and $200 for non-members. You can register at www.cincinnatiredcross.org/BEPA and they will be accepted through November 2.The lunchtime keynote speaker is Kay W. Wilkins\, CEO for the Southeastern Louisiana Chapter of the American Red Cross. In 2005\, Wilkins and her chapter faced one of the greatest natural disasters in recent history\, Hurricane Katrina. With help from national agencies her chapter launched the largest disaster relief effort in U.S. history. Today\, Wilkins continues to lead Southeastern Louisiana toward recovery and restoration. She will be on hand to give an account of her experiences and to share lessons learned from Hurricane Katrina.
