DESCRIPTION:Join us for a day of bees and honey! Grailville Retreat & Program Center in Loveland\, OH invites you to Beekeeping 101 on Saturday\, April 27\, 2013 from 1:00 pm   4:00 pm.\n\n\n\nThis workshop is designed for new or "wanna-bee" keepers and for folks who are intrigued by the life and times of the honeybee.  This workshop will explore these fascinating creatures\, their lifestyle\, their historic relations with humans\, and what they need to survive and thrive.  Grailville's Mary Lu Lageman will also share about the necessary tools\, information\, and hive options for beginning a bee-keeping adventure.  Weather permitting\; there will be a live hive demonstration.\n\n\n\nBeekeeping 101 is a part of Grailville's 2013 Good Earth/Good Eats + Good Arts Series\, building skills to help us live lightly and well on the Earth we share. Experience the connections between people\, the earth and the food we eat\, and enjoy hands-on arts activities exploring both the beauty of the earth and your own creativity.\n\n\n\nBeekeeping 101 is offered on Saturday\, April 27\, from 1:00 pm   4:00 pm at Grailville Retreat & Program Center\, 932 O'Bannonville Road\, Loveland OH.
