DESCRIPTION:This year's golf outing\, on June 9th at the Oasis Golf Club\, is being taken to a whole new level by Chairman Rob Stansel and our Golf Committee.  This is THE year to get involved!Here's the latest buzz....Jon Warden\, pitcher for the 1968 World Champion Detroit Tigers\, will play in the outing and serve as our auctioneerExclusive Ryder Cup Vahalla logo on Nike apparelBoutique Napa Valley wines\, custom labeled for this year's eventFull set of professional line golf equipment (drivers\, putters\, wedges) from either Titlest\, Cobra\, Adams and ClevelandNew "Predict How Far You Can Drive the Ball" Contest\, measured by Laser LinkThe outing begins with a delicious HoneyBaked Ham box lunch and a variety of beverages\, before a well-organized shotgun start at 11:30 am\, followed by fast\, smooth play on the course that will get you home early!Players compete for prizes on every hole\, including car leases\, gift certificates to area golf courses\, sports memorabilia\, and wonderful gift baskets from area businesses.The scramble ends with an enjoyable Oasis Patio Golf Grillout and a fast-paced and entertaining auction and awards ceremony.This is our largest fund raiser of the year and there are plenty of ways to participate\, for golfers and non-golfers alike\, through various levels of sponsorship\, advertising benefits\, and volunteer opportunities.For more information\, please call us at the Chamber office (683-1544) or send us an email.
