SUMMARY:Senior Academy
DESCRIPTION:The Loveland Police Division's Senior Academy is a program to reach out to senior residents in the Loveland area to provide information on issues pertinent to them.  Topics such as consumer frauds\, medicare and life insurance fraud\, and home safety and security will be presented by guest speakers from the Council on Aging\, Ohio Attorney General's Office\, the Ohio Department of Insurance\, Loveland Police Division and the Loveland-Symmes Fire Department. The academy will be held over a four week period on the following Tuesdays:  November 11th\, November 18th\, December 2nd\, and December 9th.  Classes will run from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm at New Hope Baptist Church located at 1401 Loveland-Madeira Road.  New Hope Baptist Church Pastor Bill Hounshell\, who is also the Chaplain for the Loveland Police Division\, has donated space for the academy and will provide lunch for those seniors in attendance. To register for the Senior Academy\, call the Loveland Police Division at 583-3000.  Transportation to and from the academy will be provided by New Hope Baptist Church upon request.
