The community is invited to attend a reception for Dr. Kevin Boys, who after eight years as Superintendent of the Loveland City School District, will be leaving to become President of Southern State Community College.  Dr. Boys' Farewell Reception will be held on Thursday, December 17, from 3-6 p.m. in the LIS/LMS Media Center.

"The excitement that I have for this new challenge and opportunity is of course tempered by the realization that I will leave behind a wonderfully dedicated and professional staff and a supportive community that have worked so hard to make Loveland the excellent school district that it is. Serving as superintendent, and living in this great community has been a great blessing to me and my family," Dr. Boys said.

Dr. Boys has accepted the position of president effective January 1 and will be sworn in at the trustees' meeting on January 13, 2010.
