Respect people’s time. Design for different humans. Use AI for efficiency. Make meetings matter. This special edition Lunch & Learn proceeds will benefit NEST Community Learning Center, supporting local students and families. Cost: $50 Description: Time is our most valuable nonrenewable resource, yet we routinely fill calendars with meetings that could have been an email. In this practical session, we’ll rethink meetings around the humans in them. Learn when a meeting is actually the right tool, how to design in-person and hybrid meetings for different generations and work styles and where AI can take some of the busywork off your plate. Most importantly, learn how to use the time you have together for what humans do best: connect, collaborate, create and decide. You’ll leave with a reusable agenda and follow-up formula you can put to work immediately. 1. Respect the time. 2. Design for different humans. 3. Let AI do the busywork. Let humans do the human work. Included: Free Agenda Template and follow-up formula (with AI Prompt) Meet Deidre Hazelbaker, a creative problem solver, community builder, and proud Loveland City Councilmember! Deidre has spent her career helping organizations tell their stories, build connections, and create positive change. She owns a local consulting business and serves in nonprofit leadership, bringing together people from diverse backgrounds to strengthen the community. When she's not serving the community, you can find her volunteering, coaching youth sports, exploring the outdoors with her family, or dreaming up new ways to connect people and build a greater sense of belonging. Make Meetings Matter
Let's Lunch With a Purpose
Three Key Takeaways
Know when you need people together and when an email, message or update can accomplish the job more efficiently.
Create meetings that account for different generations, personalities, processing styles and in-person or virtual participation.
Use AI to help build agendas, organize input, capture takeaways and draft follow-up, freeing the meeting itself for discussion, creativity, connection and decisions.
