Scholarship Deadline

The Loveland Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the availability of two scholarships of $1,000 each, available to two graduating seniors residing in the Loveland City School District.

One of the two scholarships awarded by the Chamber is the Patricia Furterer Scholarship Award, given to an individual majoring in an arts-related field, who best exemplifies the character of Patricia Furterer, a long-time resident, former Executive Director of the Chamber, 2002 Valentine Lady, Loveland Stage Company Producer, and Loveland promoter and enthusiast.

The other of the two scholarships, The Loveland Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship, is awarded to a student who demonstrates the ability to succeed academically and manifests a personal commitment to community reflected in their activities and local service projects.

The scholarship application has been sent to all participating high schools, and is available at the Chamber office and on our Website, www.lovelandchamber.org.  Interested students should contact the Guidance Department at their respective schools.  Scholarship recipients are selected by a committee using a process which conceals the identity of all applicants.

The deadline for submitting scholarship applications is Friday, April 16, 2010.  Applications can be mailed to the Loveland Area Chamber of Commerce, 442 W.
