Loveland is a family oriented, friendly town on the banks of the one of America's most scenic waterways, the Little Miami River. Loveland has a rich history based on the community's connection with the railroad and the river. More recently, with the creation of the Loveland Bike Trail, Loveland has become associated with fitness and family activities.

The Small Stacks Festival has something for every member of the family, for fitness enthusiasts and for those who want to spend a relaxing day at the river listening to top notch music and entertainment.

The day starts with the Loveland Frogman, an adventure race along and on the Little Miami River. Grab a friend or a family member and put together a team to canoe, bike and run your way to victory. Also starting the day is the Dog Days of Summer 10 kilometer run. Don't want to run 10 kilometers? Bring the pooch and do the Dog Walk.

The Loveland Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual Pancake Breakfast at Small Stacks. Reward yourself after the race or just come by to sample some delicious pancakes.

Mercy Health Plex/7 Hills Bike Club will be hosting their annual Bike Swap Meet in the Runner's Depot Parking lot starting at 8:00am. This swap meet has all sorts of treasures, both old and new, for the bike enthusiast.

The Pizazz Boat Race, featuring boats made by area students goes off at Noon. Come and see some of these creative boats as they race on the Little Miami River for prizes.

Don't forget about Harvest on the Trail, Small Stacks farmer's market dedicated to the best in locally grown produce and food stuffs. All day during Small Stacks, the best of natural and healthy foods will be available to snack on and to take home.

Entertainment will be happening all day at the Small Stacks Festival. Singers and band will be performing throughout the day. At 2:00pm Small Stacks is again presenting a puppet show.
