St. Columban Students Invite Veterans to a Memorial Service Held in Their Honor

St. Columban students would like to share this important day with military veterans in the Loveland Community. All veterans are invited to join the students at the park. The ceremony includes brief speeches by local government officials, words from members of the St. Columban student government, the laying of a wreath at the park and the tying of ribbons around the flagpoles flying the flags of the different branches of the armed services. According to Junior High Social Studies teacher Chad Drinnen, "It is important for students to remember and honor those men and women who have fought to defend our nation."
