Each year during Valentine Season, our reigning Valentine Lady visits schools and businesses in Loveland. This year’s Valentine Lady is Linda Cox.
In 1975, a newspaper article coined Chamber Secretary, Doris Pfiester, "Valentine Lady" and the name stuck. Doris and her daughter, Ruth Jackson, were our Valentine Ladies until 1988. In 1989, the Loveland Area Chamber of Commerce began selecting a new "Valentine Lady" each year. Valentine Lady nominees are women who distinguish themselves in community, school and family endeavors.
Nominees must reside in the Loveland zip code (45140) and be able to work with the Chamber from early January through Valentine’s Day, serving as our Goodwill Ambassador spreading love throughout the community.
